Our two guest presenters, Abron Andrews from Vet Biz Central (http://www.vetbizcentral.org) and Shawntay Dixon from the Women’s Business Center at the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council are nationally-recognized experts in the field of entrepreneurship. Please join us for fact-filled, experience-based presentations. There’ll be plenty of time for questions.

In the style of a cat café, register to reserve a 15-minute time slot for you or your family to meet and socialize with current residents of the Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue (FMAR)! Although there will be no on-site adoptions, you may schedule an adoption appointment with FMAR, conveniently located in Sumpter Township, for a later date.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

These introductory computer classes are designed for the absolute beginner.
  • Computer Basics I: Introduction to Computers (08/14) - Learn about the various types of computers, computer set-ups, and basic functions, and get lots of practice using the keyboard and mouse
  • Computer Basics II: Windows (08/28) - Learn how to navigate the computer’s desktop, explore available computer programs, and create and organize files.
  • Computer Basics III: The Internet (09/11) - Learn about the Internet and some tips and tricks for effectively searching the Internet using the various popular search engines. 
  • Computer Basics IV: Email (09/25) - Patrons will be introduced to some of the popular email services, the basic components of email, and how to use them effectively.

Belleville Area Museum presents Eloise, History of the Poorhouse, Asylum, and Hospital. Join us to learn about the history of one of Michigan's greatest attractions for everyone, from paranormal enthusiasts to history buffs. 

Constructed in 1839 as a psychiatric hospital, Eloise offers over 100 years of stories. The presenter is Tyler Moll, Director of Wayne Historical Museum.
