Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Leah graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Political Science, with a concentration in National Security, in 2017 and 2020 respectively. Upon graduating with her undergraduate degree, Leah was brought to Michigan to help coach the University of Michigan Dance Team while also serving as a Constituent Relations Director and then Legislative Director for the Michigan House of Representatives Vice Chair of the Education Committee. Transitioning to a central staff position in early 2020, Leah became a Policy Advisor to the Michigan House’s Republican Caucus handling many of the COVID-19 Executive Orders, as well as transportation and military and veterans’ issues. After completing her Master’s degree, Leah worked for the federal government in Washington, D.C. and was quickly brought back to Michigan to serve alongside the staff at the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. 

Leah Robinson currently serves as the Director of Tax Policy and Legislative Affairs for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce covering issues from tax to workforce development and education.
