A Seed Walk in the Park In-Person
Join us for a seed collecting journey! The BADL Seed Library is partnering with the Huron-Clinton Metroparks to bring our community the opportunity to go out and help collect native seeds at the Oakwoods Metropark. Learn what to look for while saving seeds and put your knowledge into practice!
This event will take place from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. on Saturday, October 19th at the Oakwoods Metropark, which is located at 32901 Willow Rd, New Boston, MI 48164. The $10 park entry fee will be waived for participants--this event is completely free. Seed collecting will take place at the park's Butterfly Viewing Area, which is labeled on the park map as "Viewing Area" and is marked by a pair of yellow binoculars.
